Actor Marco Gumabao expressed frustration over the reported surge in fuel prices, calling it “kagaguhan” in a recent social media post.

The remark came after Gumabao shared updates about his intense preparation for the upcoming HYROX Fitness Competition in Hong Kong this May. The actor has been training rigorously, even running under the heat in Camarines Sur.
“Thank you Lord for the strength! Malayo na, pero malayo pa!” he said in one of his posts.
“Good morning from CamSur. Personal best sub 50 for the first time. Shout out to Pat Sugui, mas mabagal ako sa iyo ng 30 seconds. Hindi pa kaya. Hindi pa kaya. Medyo mamamatay na ako bro. But thanks for the push,” he added.
Gumabao also shared his appreciation for training in the province despite the intense weather.
“But I love running here ni CamSur, grabe kahit sobrang init, ang sarap pa rin ng weather. So thank you Lord for the strength,” he said.
He further revealed his readiness for the competition, saying, “Ready for HYROX solo open on May 8 in Hong Kong. See you guys there!”
However, his tone shifted in a succeeding Instagram Story, where he reacted to reports that gasoline prices could reach as high as P170 per liter.
“Bakit ako nagpapalakas tumakbo? Dahil sa kagaguhan na to!” Gumabao wrote, expressing his dismay over the situation.
