Seafood lovers in Metro Manila now have a new destination to satisfy their cravings without leaving the city, as Seascape Village in Pasay City offers an elevated take on the traditional Filipino “dampa” dining experience.

Located within the CCP Complex between Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila and the Manila Film Center, Seascape Village introduces a more upscale and organized version of the familiar seafood market-and-restaurant concept.
At the heart of the development is its Bay Market, where visitors can choose from a wide selection of fresh seafood sourced from different parts of the Philippines. Options range from lobsters and crabs to scallops, mantis shrimp, and other local catches.
Similar to the traditional dampa setup, diners can purchase seafood directly from the wet market and bring it to partner restaurants within the complex for cooking. Establishments such as Mazu Seaside Diner, Blue Post Boiling Crabs and Shrimps, and other in-house restaurants offer “paluto” services, allowing customers to customize how their dishes are prepared.
Among the standout dishes commonly enjoyed by visitors are sautéed crab with ginger and onion, salmon belly sinigang sa miso, baked oysters, prawns thermidor, shrimp buttered garlic, and seafood fried rice loaded with shrimp and vegetables. Other offerings include baked scallops, steamed pampano in soy sauce, mixed vegetables lohan style, and lato salad.
Beyond its food offerings, Seascape Village is designed as a lifestyle destination. The area features clean, breezy surroundings and a wide range of amenities including cafes, dessert shops, spas, and recreational facilities such as mini golf, pickleball, a children’s playground, billiards, and table football.
Visitors can also enjoy sunset views along Manila Bay, with al fresco dining and occasional live band performances enhancing the overall experience.
Unlike traditional wet markets, the Bay Market is equipped with modern facilities including its own ice plant, water stations, ATMs, convenience stores, and retail spaces. A dry market section also offers souvenirs and additional food options.
With its combination of fresh seafood, customizable dining, and leisure amenities, Seascape Village positions itself as a premier destination for both locals and tourists seeking a convenient seaside escape within Metro Manila.
