Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas shared her conversation with lawyer for possible legal actions regarding Gerald Sibayan’s bashers online. On her Instagram post, the 51-year old actress-comedienne said that it is her duty to protect her soon-to-be-husband.
“Nag tanong ako sa lawyer ko dahil ang aking magiging asawa ay pribadong tao nagkataon lang na si gerald sibayan ay naging kasintahan ko at mapapangasawa sa darating na disyembre .. bilang kanyang magiging may bahay ay karapatan kong ipag tanggol sya .. sa mga taong walang magawa kundi mag internet na ginagamit sa kasmaan ang kanilang daliri at isip para sa inyo ito .. mahal kong darl @gerald_sibayan #warning#notocyberbullying🚫 #fineis40tto1.2m,” the caption read.
On their conversation, the lawyer said to AiAi that they can file a legal case to those online bashers as long as they have proof like screenshots and links.
“Gerald can personally file a report against against the bully for online harassment. Just collect screenshots. Take note on the link of the address bar or search bar. It takes a week or so for the investigation to be conducted. Let us know if you want to meet on this.”
