The octagon’s hailed giants Brock Lesnar and Alistair Overeem are about invade Las Vegas, as they face each other for the last Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) main-event match of the year.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Lesnar returns to welcome former Strikeforce heavyweight king Overeem. One of mixed martial arts (MMA) acclaimed superstars, Lesnar has never backed down from a challenge. His showdown with Overeem, a world-class striker with dynamite in his fists, proves it, making this the perfect way to end the year for their fans.
The 6’3” Brock Edward Lesnar used to be an accomplished amateur wrestler, winning some of the world’s most prestigious wrestling games. After a few years, he then decided to make a shift—from being a wrestler to a full-fledged MMA fighter. His debut in UFC was a lost against Frank Mir in 2007. He, however, snatched the UFC Heavyweight Championship title from Randy Couture the following year, then avenged his loss to Mir at UFC 100.
British-born Dutch Overeem, on the other hand, is the former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion, Dream Interim Heavyweight Champion, K-1 World Grand Prix Champion. He also made history by being the only fighter in combat sports to hold a world title in both MMA and K-1 kickboxing at the same time.
Who among Lesnar and Overeem will dominate the octagon? Also in UFC 141, welterweight contenders Jon Fitch and Johny Hendricks will meet up in a battle that might shake up the 170-pound weight class.
