Legendary filmmaker James Cameron transports audiences back to the breathtaking world of Pandora as ‘Avatar’ returns to Philippine cinemas with an all new fiery chapter.

‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ is now showing in cinemas nationwide, taking Filipinos on another immersive experience as they follow the Sully family’s journey of grief, acceptance, and redemption.

An Avatar-inspired installation made in partnership with Filipino contemporary artist, Leeroy New makes its way to the MOA Sky until January 4, 2026

Opening the Philippine Premiere of ‘Avatar: Fire & Ash’ last December 12, 20th Century Studios Philippines launched an art installation made in collaboration with Filipino contemporary artist, Leeroy New. This masterpiece draws inspiration from the Mangkwan Clan’s color palette and sharp architectural forms interwoven with a Filipino element referencing the precolonial seafaring vessel, the balangay. Staying true to New’s style, this installation is made with a metal framework with painted bamboo and rattan weaving, mixed with manipulated industrial material, and found objects. Through this interplay of natural and repurposed elements, the piece reflects on people’s shifting relationship with the environment and our responsibility to safeguard it. The installation will be in the 3F MOA Sky at SM Mall of Asia until January 4, 2026.

A fiery chapter unfolds in Avatar: Fire and Ash

‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ picks up a few weeks after the events of “Avatar: The Way of Water,” and follows the journey of the Sully Family as they learn to adjust to life without their eldest son, Neteyam, while facing a new fiery clan and continuing their battle against the RDA. Director, co-writer, and producer James Cameron shares “this film definitely delivers something fresh and new. I think where it’s unexpected is that it’s very truthful, very authentic about the emotional consequences of the things that happened in ‘The Way of Water.’”

With its breathtaking visuals, thrilling action sequences, emotional storyline, and stellar casting, audiences will once again immerse themselves in the world of ‘Avatar’ for a movie experience like no other, best enjoyed on the big screen.

Step back into Pandora with your own clan and watch ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ in cinemas nationwide and best experienced through IMAX, 4DX, and ScreenX. Book your tickets at https://www.disney.ph/movies/avatar-fire-and-ash.
