‘Kambal Karibal’ starts on November 27, Monday on GMA Telebabad.
Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali guarantee their audience that their love team will level up. In the trailer of their new show, Kambal Karibal, the two aims to shock their loyal fans.
According to Bianca, “It will be a different Miguel and Bianca. Ibang-iba ito sa mga past series namin. Hindi na po siya ‘yung magiging usual na pa-sweet lang. It will be heavier, kung paano siguro namin ide-deliver ‘yung character. It’s not going to be ‘yung magaang lang. I think we’re ready to level up.”
Miguel also shared, “Every time naman na may bago kaming character ni Bianca, we make sure na iba ‘yung nakikita nila para, alam mo ‘yun, may pagkakaiba ‘yung character ni Pagaspas sa character ni ganyan. Para mas maintindihan po nila yung story pati ‘yung hugot ng character.”
Kambal Karibal will be about the twins: Crisanta (Bianca) and Criselda (Pauline Mendoza). Unfortunately, Criselda dies due to an unknown disease. Although, she won’t rest in peace. Criselda, as a spirit, follows her sister around. The two are very friendly to each other until Diego (Miguel) comes into the story.
Criselda’s anger grows because she feels Crisanta is the more favored child. Then, Criselda possesses the body of a young lady to gain the attention of Diego and their parents. This is the video of the trailer from GMA Network’s YouTube channel:
Although, this is far from being a fantaserye. Bianca states, “Ang Kambal Karibal po ay malayo sa ibang fantaserye ng GMA. Siguro kaya lang po siya nasasabi na parang fantaserye kasi po meron po kaming multo. Pero ‘yun lang po ‘yun, ‘yung supernatural effect pero it’s far from being a fantasy.”
She added, “The story would focus about family and love. May multo lang po talaga na manggugulo sa mga buhay ng mga tao.”
Miguel also shared, “It’s a story naman, halo-halo siya eh. Merong drama, merong love story, merong horror/mysterious na recipe itong show na ito. Kaya aabangan niyo ‘yan. Talagang tagos sa kaluluwa hindi lang sa emotions kundi literal na tatagusan ka sa kaluluwa.”
Kambal Karibal also features Jean Garcia and Marvin Agustin. Also, Alfred Vargas, Carmina Villaroel, Gloria Romero and Christopher de Leon.
