Kris Aquino faces a blessed year ahead. Rumors suggest that she will have two movies in 2018 and a cameo in an upcoming American film. People Asia also included her in their list of 2017’s People of the Year. Moreover, she became the cover on the said issue of the magazine.
According to rumors, one of the two movies she will be a part of in 2018 include Derek Ramsay as her leading man. Apparently, the said movie will under the production of Quantum Films.
Kris will also appear in an upcoming American film titled, “Crazy Rich Asians” based on Kevin Kwan’s novel of the same name. Under the distribution of Warner Bros. and direction of Jon M. Chu.
The story centers on an American-born Chinese economics professor, Rachel Chu. She accompanies her boyfriend to Singapore for his best friend’s wedding. She was thrust into the lives of Asia’s rich and famous. She will also discover that her boyfriend, Nick Young, came from a wealthy family which makes every woman want him.
“People Asia” magazine also included Kris on their 2017’s People of the Year. She also became the cover of the said magazine for the December 2017 – January 2018 issue. People Asia posted a photo of the cover on their official Instagram account. The caption on the said post also read:
