- Matt Evans will play Dindo Carazo in Sherlock Jr.
- He shared his reason why he transferred to GMA Network.
Although he has only started as a Kapuso, Matt Evans already has a huge project in GMA Network, Sherlock Jr. The show also remains Matt Evans’ first regular GMA Network series.
He plays Dindo Carazo, the arrogant son of a power-hungry and manipulative politician. Tonton Gutierrez will play the said politician, Sen. Lawrence Carazo and started grooming Dindo to become like him.
Sherlock Jr. will catch viewers’ attention and interest with the action-filled story-line with mystery and drama. The show will also manifest themes like love, family and life’s greatest joys. In an interview, Matt shared that he felt excited about his project in GMA Network.
“Hindi naman po mahirap, naninibago lang po at kinakabahan at siyempre ay excited din. Kasi first time ko makakatrabaho sila Ruru at ito rin po ang kauna-unahang teleserye ko po sa GMA.”
In the said interview, Matt revealed his reason in transferring to GMA Network.
“Nung lumipat po ako dito, tinanong po ako ni Ms. Lilybeth kung ano ang gusto ko raw po na role. Sabi ko naman po sa kanila, ayoko naman po magbida kasi una po sa lahat, iba po ‘yung pressure ng bida.”
He also added that he would want to be in character roles that would challenge him and to showcase his talent for acting.
“Sabi ko doon na lang po ako sa character roles para at least mabilis po na maka-penetrate at saka mas challenging din po. Wala naman po. Basta sabi ko lang po sa kanila gusto ko lang pong i-showcase ‘yung talent ko. And ‘yun nga po, umpisa pa lang tinanong na nila ako at tinapat ko na rin po sila na ang character roles ang gagawin ko muna.”
