JM de Guzman will have his comeback to television series in the upcoming Precious Hearts Romances (PHR): Araw Gabi. In the said project, he will be paired with Paul Salas’ girlfriend, Barbie Imperial.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Paul reacted to Barbie’s project with JM.
In the said interview, Paul assured that he doesn’t need to feel jealous or nervous about Barbie’s project with JM and he knows JM will take care of Barbie. He also added that Barbie has always been a special girl for him but her job is her job.
Paul remarked that he feels happy for her and will continue to support them.
“Hindi, kasi si Kuya JM kasama ko na ‘yan sa Mula Sa Puso pa lang. May pinagsamahan na kami niyan, napakabait na Kuya niyan para sa akin. Alam ko naman na maaalagaan niya si Barbie, magiging okay siya as loveteam, magiging mabait siya… Special siya sa akin pero trabaho naman ito, e, di ka puwedeng magpaapekto sa trabaho kasi lalo lang kaming masisira. Basta masaya ako para sa kanya, may bago siyang project, busy-busyhan na siya so support ako sa kanya.”
According to Paul himself, there will be no place for insecurities because the production trusted Barbie for an opportunity. If Barbie remained busy for a taping, it will not be a problem.
Paul knows her schedule just in case he wanted to visit her and such.
“Wala, wala akong issue sa ganyan, basta masaya ako para sa kanilang dalawa lalo na kay Barbie. Big break sa kanya, sabi ko sa kanya ingatan niya, galingan niya pa lalo… Oras? Hindi naman, ako hangga’t di pa naman ako busy… Sa kanya, sana M-W-F [Monday-Wednesday-Friday] lang ang taping niya pero masaya ako para sa kanya.”
