GMA-7’s latest weeknight drama Langit sa Piling Mo successfully completed its maiden flight last May 31 with a 16.8 percent Mega Manila household rating, according to data from AGB Nielsen.
Its original storyline appealed to viewers as the TV series touches on the perks and problems of airline employees, which people from outside this industry find very intriguing.
In LSPM, Heart plays a flight attendant searching for her long-lost siblings while Mark, on the other hand, portrays a young airline executive whose true interest is photography. Despite their conflicting past, they share a common dream: to fly. Fate will make a way for them to keep crossing paths with each other and eventually fall in love with each other.
Among the highlights for the week are the mysterious murder of Rigo’s father, Rodrigo (Ricardo Cepeda); Marj (Heart Evangelista) and Rigo’s (Mark Herras) initial encounter as kids; and their reunion as adults each trying to fulfill their personal destinies.
