Barbie Imperial posted (then deleted) “no to physical abuse” on Instagram with photographs of her bruises and scratches. The said post alarmed Imperial’s fans and supporters and thought that the ‘Araw-Gabi’ star might be physical abuse victim. The posts, however, were already deleted.
She also recently posted a photo of her kissing her mom, Bing Imperial, on the cheek.
“Strong woman”
In an Instagram post, Barbie was sporting bruises and red marks on both of her arms. She also thanked her mother for raising her as a strong woman.
“I am strong because a strong woman raised me. You’re all I need mama. I love you. Thank you @imperial_bing 🙏🏻❤️”
Bruises
At first, many speculated that the bruises and marks were only for a role she’s doing or will be doing in a movie or on television.
In this post, Barbie has red marks all over her right arm while her right hand is clsaped with her mother’s left hand.
Although slightly hidden, Barbie has a huge red mark on her left arm.
Accusations on Paul Salas
Other fans took to Barbie’s social media accounts to figure out and ask what was happening to her.
“Bie, you know what to do!!! Mga ganyang tao dapat blotter para magtanda! Restraining order para di na makalapit pa sayo ever!”
A fan had asked what happened. One of Barbie’s fans shared their suspicion on Paul Salas, Barbie’s rumored ex-boyfriend, as her abuser.

“Si Paul Salas. Good for nothing, piece of shit.”
Did Paul Salas’s mom reach out?
Paul’s mom, Michelle Solinap, seemed to have reached out to Barbie or one of her closest friends. In a message, she wrote that people would think that Paul did the bruises. She also added that Barbie was the one who started the break-up.
“Hi Barbie ano nangyayari bakit ganyan post mo? Si Paul iisipin ng tayo nyan. Alam mo naman (na) ‘di magagawa ni Paul ‘yan at kung gaano ka kamahal ni Paul. Ikaw una nag ayaw at (nakipaghiwalay). Ginawa na lahat ni Paul intindihan ka alam mo ‘yan. Wag ganun parehas kayo artista si Paul masisira (nakakalungkot) mga (nangyayari) may pinagsamahan kayo, tayo, Barbie.”
Michelle also noted that she wanted everything to be back from before. She wanted to still be Barbie’s shoulder to cry on. She also pointed out that she and Paul were the ones who had a problem.
“Wag ganun please please lang ha. Gusto ko ganun pa rin tayo, if need mo advice or shoulder to cry on dito pa rin ako. Barbie, (walang) nagbago pati kami ni mommy. Kayo lang naman ni Paul may (problema) ‘di tayo. Thank you ingat ka pray and mga sinabi ko sa’yo, ha.”
The recipient of the message also replied, pertaining to the person who hurt her never actually apologized. They also added that this just pushed them to make legal actions. They continued that they have proven that this person hurt them.
“Imbes na mag sorry nalang sya tita, dinadamay nya pa mga kaibigan nya. Mas lalo nya kami pinupush na gumawa ng legal (actions). May pruweba ako na sinaktan nya ako. God bless po”
Michelle sent a lengthy message to a group chat for Paul’s official fan page. She couldn’t take it anymore that she is not speaking up for herself and for her son.
“Hello everyone. Hindi ko na kaya na hindi magsalita na nakikita ko anak ko nahihirapan, nasasaktan sa mga nangyayari na tahimik lang siya. Kasi (ayaw) niya kami (ma-stress) na pamilya niya. Pero sobra na eh, bilang nanay (‘di) ko kaya makita ganun sinasabi sa anak ko na hindi naman niya na lahat sinacrifice niya lahat. (Tinanggap) ko na buong buo at ng maayos tapos eto pa gagawin.”
Michelle added that in these cases, the man is always in the wrong one. She also maintains that she knows Paul and only God knows and will reveal the truth.
“Bat ganun ano laban ng anak ko sa mata ng mga tao kasi lalaki siya. Lagi naman tama mga babae sa mata ng lahat kasi babae. Pero mali, eh, masasabi ko lang (Diyos) na bahala siya nakaka alam ng totoo lalabas at lalabas din katotohanan. Ano magawa niya kung ayaw na ng anak ko pilitin ng anak ko? Para ano? Eh hindi na kaya ng anak ko ginagawa niya, ayoko na magsalita sa totoo lang sana at sa tama kilala ng mga nakasama o nakatrabaho ni Paul. Kung ano pagkatao niya sabi nga niya (Diyos) na nakakaalam ng totoo at may karma naman sa lahat naniniwala ako dun.”
Michelle pleaded to Paul’s fans to cheer up and uplift his spirits. Every post and every accusation against her son just makes her feel bad even more.
“Please nakikiusap ako na (i-cheer up na) lang natin (si) Paul lagi, upliftr lang natin siya. Kahit (‘di) niya sabihin (sa akin) alam ko nasasaktan na siya sa mga ginagawa at sinasabi sa kanya (Diyos) ko. Alam niyo paano pinaglaban ni Paul siya. Gaano (kamahal) at sinasacrifice ni Paul dun nalang sana (tayo) sa totoo ‘yun lang masasabi ko (sobrang) stress ko na. Ayoko na magbasa kasi iyak lang ako ng iyak.”
Michelle also continued that Paul doesn’t deserve the accusations people have thrown at him.
“Pinakamasakit kasi na ganyanin (ang) anak ko. (‘Di sa kinakampihan) ko siya, kilala namin siya ano pagkatao niya walang perfect na tao. Lahat tayo nagkakamali pero yung ganun na nakikita ko sa pics na post. Ano yun alam niya ang totoo alam na alam niya sana makonsensya na lang at tanggapin na talaga at ayaw na ni Paul”
Paul Salas’s Dad react Against the Accusations?
Jim Salas posted a photo with a quote on Instagram. The said quote says,“Don’t play the victim to circumstances you created.”
In the caption, Jim also only wrote: “GOD KNOWS”
