Ken Chan has an upcoming project after ‘The Cure’.

Chan will play the lead role in the said yet still untitled series. Despite having back-to-back projects, admitted that even if he is working, his mind is not on the set.
Ken Chan’s father has a medical condition in the esophagus that needs immediate attention and operation. Before the immersion in his new series, he visited his father in the hospital to deliver a sad news.

“Pa, di ako makapunta sa opertation mo kasi may gagawin ako para sa series.”
His father replied, ‘Bago ako operahan, ikaw pa din yung ipagpi-pray ko.”
The operation of Ken’s father was successful. He is just expecting his father to get better soon.
The actor admitted that his father is his inspiration to do his best in his chosen career.
He mentioned that he considered his new series a blessing. His role will be challenging since he will be portraying a 23-year-old person with an intellectual disability disorder. This is also the reason why he had to immerse and interact with people who have intellectual disability.

“Ang sarap nilang kausap, ang sarap nila kasama.” said Ken referring to the disabled persons.
“Akala ko ang dami ko ng kayang gawin. Pero ‘pag nakausap mo sila, mas marami ka pa palang matututonan sa kanila.”
Details of the said series are yet to be revealed.
