  • Vice Ganda said that changing the lyrics of Leron Leron Sinta instead of Lupang Hinirang makes more sense.
  • Enchong Dee shared a news report on Twitter, noting how entertainers now lead the nation.
  • This was in response to Senator Tito Sotto’s proposal to change the last line of Lupang Hinirang.

Enchong Dee shared a news report of Vice Ganda asking Senate President Tito Sotto to revise other songs instead of Lupang Hinirang. He noted that the Philippines looks doomed.

In the said report, Vice quipped that they should just change Leron Leron Sinta‘s last line.

Enchong’s tweet.

In the said tweet, Enchong noted that entertainers now lead the nation.

“When our entertainers lead the nation and the leaders of our nation entertain… we are doomed.”

Vice’s request.

The comedian asked to change the last line of Leron Leron Sinta in an episode of It’s Showtime during the segment, Tawag ng Tanghalan.

“… Humanap ng iba… Hindi dapat humanap ng iba… Kapos kapalaran, bigyan ng second chance!”

Vice noted that if there is a need to revise songs, it is definitely not the National Anthem.

“Iyon dapat niyong pinapalitan, hindi ‘yung National Anthem.”
