Regine Velasquez-Alcasid recently signed under ABS-CBN on October 17, Wednesday. She is already bound to have projects as a Kapamilya. She will perform in ASAP, star in a sitcom with husband, Ogie Alcasid, judge for the talent show, Search for the Idol Philippines and sing the theme song for The General’s Daughter.
The Asia’s Songbird is also bound to sing the ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID.

Idol Philippines.
Search for the Idol Philippines will air on ABS-CBN in 2019. The Idol series in the Philippines had different titles in different networks. Philippine Idol was the first version of the Idol series in the Philippines which aired in 2006 on TV5.
Although TV5 considered producing the second season, they eventually abandoned the plan. This gave GMA Network a chance to incarnate the second version of the series. Pinoy Idol was aired in 2008.
