- Beauty Gonzalez has an upcoming horror movie titled Hilakbo.
- Dumaguete City, the young actress’s hometown will be the film’s setting.
- She, being not a fan of horror movies; she might skip watching the film instead.
Beauty Gonzalez just revealed that she has an upcoming horror movie under BG Productions and under the direction of Joey Romero.
From Hypnotismo, its working title, it has its new title as Hilakbo.
She’s excited to commence filming because it will be shot in Dumaguete City, her hometown.
Beauty said, “Doon ako lumaki at pinanganak. Doon ako nag-aral ng college and high school kaya excited akong bumalik.”
However, Beauty, at the same time, felt awkward since all the people she knew; growing up with in Dumaguete.
“Medyo nahihiya ako na awkward. Siyempre nandon lahat yung mga barkada ko tapos umaarte ako, parang ang weird. Sana hindi sila dumalaw,” she laughed.
“Ayoko rin na panoorin nila ako. I don’t want anyone watching me and actually, I don’t like watching myself.”
In addition, Beauty admitted she never watched herself acting onscreen.
“Hindi ako nanonood ng kahit anong pelikula ko. Kahit anong mga palabas ko sa TV hindi ko pinapanood.
“Ganun lang akong tipong tao. At saka hindi ko rin lang talaga nakasanayan.”
The new movie is a big challenge for her besides she’s never a big fan of horror movies.
“First time ko to do horror and malaking challenge ito kasi nga challenge talaga na takutin yung mga tao na hindi sila matatawa sa akin.
“Kasi baka matawa sila pagka nagsalita na ako. So, exciting siya instead of natatakot ako. Ayoko ng horror. You can never let me go to a film na horror.
“Kaya nga sabi ng asawa ko manood na raw ako kahit isa lang. I mean, I’ve seen before pero talagang nagtatago ako
“At saka, why will I pay something to scare me? I don’t want to be entertained that way. Ang gusto happy lang or iyak, okey, drama. Pero I wouldn’t pay something to scare me, yon yung sa akin,” she ended.
Beauty Gonzales will be working together with Enzo Pineda, Polo Ravales, and Ariella Arida in “Hilakbo”.
