Actress Coleen Garcia is now back on doing films after signing a contract with the VIVA Artist Agency last February 18. In her new journey, she is accordingly aligned to do ten films or maybe more under her five-year contract with the new talent management. She also shared that she is looking forward on having a project together with former co-host Anne Curtis.
In an entertainment press conference on her contract signing, she said that she is really looking forward to doing films again after going off the limelight lately.
“More of films, I’m really passionate about films. And I also want to work on more films and I haven’t had a chance lately pero ngayon na ready to go back to work na ako, I’m really excited to work on more films.”
She also said that she is very much ready to take on the new chapter that she will be facing, saying that this is what she actually needs a fresh start and a new beginning.
“I figured with this new chapter in my life. I really needed a fresh start also and I wanted a new beginning.”
Coleen during the interview also disclosed that she misses her ‘It’s Showtime’ family and hosting. Implying that she is open to going back to hosting but for now she is passionately focused on doing films.
“Minsan nami-miss ko rin talaga and at the back of my mind maybe I do wonder what if I could get a hosting job again soon. I’m definitely open for that. Kaya lang ngayon, number one passion ko talaga is films and I really wanted to give way to that.”
Knowing that her former ‘It’s Showtime’ co-host Anne Curtis is also under the management of VIVA Artistry, she said that she is very much looking forward to collaborating with her.
Coleen is formerly with the Star Magic talent management for seven years and now she shares the roof with husband Billy Crawford.
