The biggest dance competition in the country, ‘World of Dance Philippines,’ pulled in more viewers last weekend compared to its rival show in GMA Network.
It is a Philippine TV reality competition series from the similar American reality competition which features different genres and kinds of dance, whether as solo act or group performance.
This is hosted by Luis Manzano and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, with Billy Crawford, Gary Valenciano, and Maja Salvador as judges.
Last March 2, 2019, the ‘World of Dance Philippines’ duels was still the most viewed show, according to Kantar Media ratings. The show earned 30.5% while its rival show ‘Daddy’s Gurl’ only earned 18.9% audience share. On the same day, Kapamilya Network Drama Anthology ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ wins with 30.0 % against ‘Magpakailaman’ with 16.5%.

Last Sunday, March 3, ‘World of Dance Philippines’ still won the ratings against ‘Studio 7′ of Kapuso Network, gaining 12.0% over 9.8%. While ‘Wansapanatym’ of ABS-CBN only earned 7.3% against ‘Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko’ of GMA Network with 8.4%.
‘World of Dance Philippines’ has sustained being on top every week end, as this show gives different levels of skill of Filipinos who loves to dance.
Viewers followed the individuals or groups, coming from different cities of the country, who got better every round.
