Are you all familiar with these lines, “So I won’t give up on us, even if the skies get rough?” How about “Well open up your mind and see like me/ Open up your plans and damn your free’? Well, you’ve guessed it right. These popular hit songs entitled “I Won’t Give Up on Us” and “I’m Yours” are by American singer-songwriter, Jason Mraz.
He had his debut on his released studio album, way back in 2000, which contained a hit single that caused his popularity. He shared his music all around the world, even in the Philippines.
The Grammy award-winning singer had his first visit in the country, last 2006, on a two-day promo tour. He came back not just once but thrice! He had his last performance on May 14, 2013 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, or the Big Dome.
And once again, the Grammy award-winning singer songwriter will be back in the Philippines for the 5th time for his Good Vibes 2019 Asia Tour at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 8, 2019. In an exclusive phone interview with Push, he was really looking forward to his comeback in the Philippines.

“I’m very excited. I love that I get to travel the world with my friends and we get to play the songs we love and we get to share them with the people listening to the songs. We wouldn’t be there, and I wouldn’t be a performer, if there were no listeners. It’s a relationship, and I’m excited to come back and continue that relationship,” Jason said.
Not just that, it was revealed that Jason Mraz will be having a collaboration with a Filipino artist, Renee Dominique. He discovered Renee on YouTube, and they’ve collaborated and wrote a song together.
“She’s an artist on the rise. I got familiar with her as she posted a cover on YouTube of a song called ‘Somewhere Only We Know’, and her voice, she sounded angelic.”
He is very excited to perform with her in his upcoming concert. Jason Mraz even thanked his Filipino Fans.

“She’ll be joining me at the concert in Manila so we can perform our songs together, which is very exciting,” Jason said.
“Thank you, my Filipino fans! You are the best, you are the most caring and kind and loving fans that an artist could be blessed with. Thank you very much,” he added.
