I don’t know that there’s an issue about ‘media payoffs’ which among the alleged recipients named in the report were Erwin Tulfo, a news anchor with TV5 and radio commentator on 92.3 News FM, and Carmelo del Prado Magdurulang, a broadcaster with dzBB. This is still about alleged that payoffs in the form of ‘advertising expenses’ were given to media practitioners during the heyday of Janet Lim-Napoles’ pork barrel scam which were exposed by Philippine Daily Inquirer on Wednesday. Anyways, below is the official statement released by GMA Network, also posted on their official Facebook page.

Any and all information regarding any activity that runs counter to our core values and code of standard are taken very seriously.
In accordance with standard procedure, we will conduct a thorough investigation on any allegation of any violations.
Due process will be observed and we will ensure that full sanctions will be applied if determined to be necessary.
In the meantime, we will continue to strictly adhere to the standards of professional and personal behavior as required by our standards and by our core values.
