Veteran newscaster Mike Enriquez is known for his tagline “Walang kinikilingan, walang pinoprotektahan. Serbisyong Totoo Lang” which he usually utters at the end of the program.
But recently, this tagline has come under fire by netizens.

At the grand media conference of Dobol B News TV, the newscaster gave his statement regarding the bashing he has been getting. The newscaster said he welcomes feedback.
“We welcome feedback, Hindi lahat ng nakikikinig at lahat ng nanonood natutuwa.”
And as a newscaster, he believes that everyone should be open to positive and negative comments, so if someone will say something against you it won’t hurt and affect you that much.
“Meron natutuwa, meron din nagagalit, ganun talaga. Kung ang asa mo lahat ay mapapatuwa mo, e, mapu-frustate ka, di ba?”
Enriquez believes that what he broadcasts and says gives justice to his tagline of being fair.
“Basta ang importante, ang alam mo ‘pag sinabi mo ‘walang kiniligan, walang pinoprotektahan,’ sinusunod niyo talaga sa isip, sa salita, at sa gawa.
“Ang imporante alam namin sa sarili namin na hindi namin niloloko bago iba, hindi namin niloloko ang sarili namin.”
