ABS-CBN’s Idol Philippines creative manager Stiffany TP Adanza slammed netizens who criticized the show’s first live rounds.
In a series of tweets, Adanza answered netizens who bashed the show and its production design.
Adanza asked the critics to just chill because it is not the stage that’s going to perform and that it is a singing and idol search, not a dance competition which requires a large stage.

Last Saturday, June 29, Idol Philippines held its first live round which featured the top 12 Idol finalists. But netizens and Idol Philippines viewers were not happy with the stage and its over-all production design.
Most of them slammed the stage design which is far from the usual Idol stage seen in the US and other Idol franchises.

However, Adanza was quick to defend the show saying they better ask Idol franchise owner, Freemantle.

She also added that no less than an X Factor UK and British Got Talent director was present at the studio and he was happy with the production value.

In the end, she just gave a tight hug to all believers, non-believers, and bashers of the show.
