Alden Richards is now preparing for his new series on GMA Network and Mikee Quintos is rumored to be his leading lady.
On July 23, Wednesday, Alden went to the Manila City Hall and paid a courtesy call on Manila Mayor Isko Moreno. Together with Kapuso actress Jo Berry, singer Mikee, and comedian Betong Sumaya, he personally informed the mayor that his upcoming series will mostly be shot in Manila.
The popular mayor gave his full support for the series which will also take place in Divisoria.
It was rumored that Alden will be teaming up with Mikee in the series which is tentatively titled as The Gift. Alden will be playing a character who has a third eye, enabling him to see paranormal phenomena.
It will be headed by Director LA Madridejos but crucial details about the series have yet to be announced.
Mikee was one of the actresses on the list of Alden’s possible leading ladies after the recent split of his phenomenal tandem with Maine Mendoza called AlDub.

Alden once worked with Mikee on the 2016 fantasy series Encantadia. He played the guest role of Lakan while Mikee played Lira, niece of Pirena. Mikee released her first vlog on 2018 and it featured Alden and other Kapuso artists at GMA Network’s Anniversary party.
The 2018 series Victor Magtanggol was the last small screen project of the Pambansang Bae. His notable works include Alakdana, Tween Hearts, One True Love, Carmela, The Road, and Imagine You and Me.
Mikee top-billed her last series Onanay in 2018. She also joined the cast of the series Sherlock Jr.,Sirkus, Alyas Robin Hood, and Encantadia.
Alden is currently busy promoting his movie Hello, Love, Goodbye with Kathryn Bernardo.
His movie,which will premiere on July 31,is produced by Star Cinema, a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Films.
