The spitting issue between Los Bastardos stars Kylie Verzosa and Maxine Medina has been put to an end.
Last Wednesday, Maxine confirmed that Kylie apologized for the accidental spitting on the set while shooting for Los Bastardos.
This was confirmed at the media conference for the Los Bastardos finale, Maxine said Kylie apologized four days after the unfortunate accident.
“Nag-sorry naman po siya sa akin… four days [after] nangyari ‘yung scene. Siguro lesson na rin ito na before natin gawin ‘yung eksena, let’s talk about it. Para if ever na may mangyari na hindi kanais-nais ay kaya nating mag-sorry right after,”
Kylie was also present at the event when Maxine gave her statement regarding the issue.
Maxine also confirmed that things were okay between her and Kylie and that people should move on from the issue.
“Tapos na tayo. Nag-sorry na siya sa akin and nag-usap na kami. Okay na po ‘yon, sobrang okay na, okay na po kami,” she said.

“I want to put an end to this, ayaw ko nang lumala pa nang lumala kasi we are friends ever since.”
But was the reason behind the spitting jealousy?
Kylie denied she spat on Maxine because of the latter’s kissing scene with Jake Cuenca, Kylie’s boyfriend,
“It’s Jake and I who had many kissing scenes! But no, really, not at all—they never gave me a reason to feel bad or jealous. The three of us are friends. We were actually joking around after.”
Although she felt relieved after apologizing, Kylie still felt hurt by what had transpired.
“Akala ko nagbibiruan lang kami kasi sobrang naglolokohan na kami after. Pero ‘yun nga po, dapat ang ginawa namin before the scene dapat nag-usap kami. Siguro ‘yun lang po ang pagkukulang ko o pagkukulang namin.”
It all started when Dianne Medina, Maxine Medina’s cousin shared a blind item, that, one of her relatives was spat on by a co-star while shooting which was later revealed to be Maxine and Kylie.
Maxine even felt bad that the issue circulated since she’s a very private person but she apologized to Kylie because of this.
“That time right after, sobrang masama ang loob ko kasi hindi ko naman ini-expect.
“So ako naman very private akong tao, hindi ako nag-aano sa social media. So nagkuwentuhan lang kami ng mom ko. Sabi ko, ‘Ma, tama ba ‘yon?'”
Maxine admitted that what happened became out of control.
“And then eventually… lahat sila parang nagalit na. So it’s not under my control anymore, although sinabihan ko na rin naman. And Ate Dianne knows it…. Ever since na bata kami, ganun na siya talaga na pinagtatanggol. Once na may agrabyado na isa, ganun kami lahat,” she added.
“So pasensiya na. Pasensiya na, sorry.”
Kylie felt hurt because of Diane and clarified that she never felt hurt because of Maxine.
“Actually hindi po si Maxine ang nakasakit sa akin. [Si Dianne] po ang nakasakit sa akin,” she said, adding, “Hindi pa po kami nag-uusap, hindi pa po niya ko kinakausap.”
Despite everything, the two beauty queens seem very happy even off cam, as seen in an Instagram story of the two having fun together.
