For the last few months, GMA Network’s Prima Donnas has outranked ABS-CBN’s Kadenang Ginto.
On January 29, 2020, Prima Donnas registered a total rating of 17.4% compared to Kadenang Ginto with only 17.1% based on Kantar Media.
This is not the first time Prima Donnas beat Kadenang Ginto when it comes to TV ratings. Here are some of the registered scores obtained by respective TV series in NUTAM:
- January 27, 2020: Prima Donnas 8.2% vs Kadenang Ginto 7.1%
- January 28, 2020: Prima Donnas 8.9% vs Kadenang Ginto 6.6%
- January 29, 2020: Prima Donnas 8.4% vs Kadenang Ginto 6.9%
- January 30, 2020: Prima Donnas 8.8% vs Kadenang Ginto 7.2%
- January 31, 2020: Prima Donnas 8.7% vs Kadenang Ginto 6.7%
Furthermore, Jillian Ward revealed that the entire cast of Prima Donnas prays before every taping to portray their roles efficiently and to provide the viewers with the value they deserve.
She revealed: “Yung harmony po naming sa taping and actually nagsimula po na talagang tumaas ‘yung ratings namin, napansin ko po, ever since nagdadasal po kami kada start ng taping.”
Althea Ablanm, who portrays the role of Ella in Prima Donnas, firmly believes that hard work really pays off.
Althea said: “Una sa lahat, hard work lang tsaka ‘yung teamwork namin lahat. ‘Yung sama-sama kami, ‘yung walang nale-left out, lahat magkakaibigan, isang pamilya kami dito.”
