Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla took to Twitter on Sunday, May 24, her love for The King: External Monarch—a romantic-fantasy South Korean TV series starring Lee Min Ho and Kim Go-eun.

She wrote: “OMG I loved yesterday’s episode of #TheKingTheEternalMonarchep12 No matter what others say, I think Lee Min Ho and Kim Go-Heun (one of my fav Korean actresses) have great chemistry. I get super kilig when they are together on screen. #kdrama Can’t wait for tonight’s episode.”

However, her tweet was linked by some netizens to Ai-Ai Delas Alas’ post on Instagram on the same day, where the comedian-actress admitted she did not appreciate the series.
As she noticed the comments to her tweet, the 55-year-old actress-singer addressed the issue and clarified that her Twitter post was not meant to throw shade on anyone, particularly not on Ai-Ai, since she posted three hours earlier.
She said, “Regarding Ai Ai’s post, I checked IG and I posted my comment [was] 3 hours ahead of hers. So not throwing shade, guys. [heart emoji]”

Delas Alas, 55, received major backlash from the upset fans of Lee Min Ho for slamming the series, The King: Eternal Monarch claiming that the flow of the story was disappointing, hard to grasp, and flat. She even tagged the Korean actor in her post.

Unlike Ai-Ai, Zsa Zsa is a fan of the series and even speculates about what could happen.
“You guys want to know what I secretly wish for the last two episodes of The King? For Lee Gon’s Republic of Korea counterpart to be alive (surprise, baby boy didn’t die) and a major fight scene between two Lee Min Hos. #wishfulthinking Kanino ka kakampi?” she stated.

The ‘Love Thy Woman‘ star also tweets her impressions of the show.
“Spoiler alert: Grabe yung scene sa church!! First pic nila together and what happens? Time stops and at that very moment we see a happy, hopeful Tae Eul – frozen in time. Then we see The King’s expression change since he knows very little time is left before two worlds collide…” she said.

“… his expression changes from hopeful to this sad realization until he cries. Then he smiles in time for the picture to be taken. My heart. What a scene! Akala mo simpleng eksena pero napakahirap gawin. Ganda ng pagkasulat at pag deliver. Bravo to the writer, director ni Lee Min Ho,” Padilla added.
