The Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo has once again proven that she’s one of the country’s top concert artists. VIP and General Admission Tickets for her “From the Top” concert at SMART Araneta slated for December 4 were sold out in less than 24 hours!
According to Philstar, it is the first time ever that Araneta sold out all VIP and General Admission tickets on the first day of selling. This astounding feat was achieved on October 1, 2015 when Sarah Geronimo herself was present at the ticket booth of The Big Dome to welcome her fans.
It should be noted that Sarah Geronimo also holds the record for the youngest solo performer to hold a concert at the Araneta Coliseum. Sarah was only 16 when her ” Sarah Geronimo: The Other Side” was staged on September 2005.
“From the Top” is Sarah’s first major concert in 2 years. Her last major concert, “Perfect 10”, was way back November 2013. The Popstar Royalty did not have a major concert last 2014 but achieved several milestones in her career. She received the Best Selling Philippines Artist award at the World Music Awards in May 2014 and released her 11th studio album “Perfectly Imperfect” five months later.
Sarah’s “From the Top” concert will be directed by Paolo Valenciano and will have Louie Ocampo as its musical director.
