Rico Blanco and Maris Racal stir dating rumors after the latter posted a video of them together singing on her Instagram account.
On Wednesday, March 17, Racal, 23, greeted Blanco for his 48th birthday by posting a black and white photo of the singer and a video of them singing Aqualung’s Brighter Than Sunshine.

“hi rico. happy birthday,” she wrote in the captions.
Fueling romance, Blanco replied, “hahaha love youu!!!” followed by 3 flamingo emojis.
In the video clip, Blanco was playing the guitar while Racal sings closely.
After their short rendition of the song, the two then shared a fist bump.
The unusual pair-up came as a surprise for the Netizens, but they expressed their support for the two as they claimed that their short video clip showed undeniable chemistry.
The two also received support from fellow artists like Maja Salvador, Alex Gonzaga, Miles Ocampo, Jane Oineza, Bela Padilla, Chie Filomeno, and Awra Briguela. The names mentioned have commented that the duet was great or left heart emojis in the comments section.
Director Antoinette Jadaone even commented that she thought that the two would share a kiss at the end of the song.
“Akala ko may kiss sa dulo ihhhhhh,” the director wrote.
Bianca Gonzalez left a comment saying, “Aaaaw. Cute niyo.”
To recall, Rico Blanco and Maris Racal first worked together for the latter’s 2019 song Abot Langit.
The collaboration came after Racal first made a fangirl tweet saying she hoped to meet Blanco one day. She tweeted that she’s looking for people to work with on her songwriting. Blanco replied and agreed to collaborate.
Rico Blanco currently runs his record label called Balcony Entertainment. He later produced Racal’s 2020 songs Not For Me and Kahit Na Anong Sablay.
