Derrick and Bea tandem will be having another TV series together aside from their weekly sitcom “Vampire and Daddy ko” with GMA Network this coming 2016.
Derrick Monasterio is a Filipino actor, dancer and singer currently under GMA Network’s roster of “tween stars”. He is the son of former Filipina actress Tina Monasterio. He has starred in several TV programs, recorded a number of songs and has roles in several movies in the past.
While Bea Binene is a Filipina actress and a television host. She was a finalist of “Starstruck Kids” last 2004 hosted by Jolina Magdangal. She was also one of the Junior Child Ambassadors for Haribon Foundation since 2005. She is also talented in theater acting and played the role of Molly in the local production of “Annie.”
Bea also starred in the GMA Network TV series “Reel Love Presents: Tween Hearts” and a regular host every Monday in “Good News Kasama si Vicky Morales” on GMA News TV. Her first starring role is with Jake Vargas in the movie “Alice Bungisngis and her Wonder Walis.”
According to an article of Aster Amoyo of Pilipino Star Ngayon, Derrick admitted that he courted Bea even before the “tween actress” had a relationship with Jake Vargas. Also the article said that Bea and him enjoyed their friendship too much so the courting did not prosper.
Also in the article, when asked if he would pursue courting Bea now that she is free, Derrick answers, “I can’t really say but there is a big chance since Bea and I and also Kristoffer Martin are very close.”
If you read between the lines, there is a definite possibility that Derrick and Bea will be more than friends specially now that they will be working more closely and frequently with their upcoming TV series with GMA Network this 2016.
Indeed, Derrick and Bea tandem is something we should all look forward to and watch closely if they will just remain as a love-team or become more than just friends.
