With ABS-CBN’s Bagong Umaga about to end this week, Barbie Imperial will still be busy this 2021.
Although her character got killed two weeks before the show’s conclusion, Imperial will do two movies. One of which is under Regal Entertainment.
“After Bagong Umaga, I’m doing two movies. Under Regal yung isa. Yun pa lang yung pwede kong sabihin,” revealed the young star during the virtual press conference for Bagong Umaga‘s finale on April 28.
Also, there may be a chance that she and her boyfriend, actor Diego Loyzaga will be together in a movie.
According to the actress, Loyzaga is currently in talks with his bosses with regard to their film.
“I think nilalambing ni Diego sa boss nila na magkaroon kami ng movie. And hopefully magkaroon kami ng movie ni Diego.
“Gusto namin pareho na ma-try.”
Barbie entered showbiz in 2015 after she joined ABS-CBN’s reality game show, Pinoy Big Brother: 737, where she got the title as The Doll along the Riles of Albay.
After her stint in PBB, she played multiple guest roles in the Kapamilya Network’s longest-running drama anthology series, Maalala Mo Kaya.
Later on, she became a member of the girl group, Girltrends in the noontime show, It’s Showtime.
In 2018, she got her big break when she played Michelle Verano in ABS-CBN’s drama television series, Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi opposite JM de Guzman.
After her impressive performance in the series, she got roles after roles, both on television and in films.
While she was doing Bagong Umaga, she joined the cast of Dreamscape Entertainment‘s Web series, Oh, Mando along with Kokoy de Santos and Alex Diaz.
On April 13, Barbie’s character in Bagong Umaga was killed after she made a recorded message, and repented for all her sins.
