During the digital media conference, Beauty Gonzalez, now a Kapuso actress, confessed that she struggled and couldn’t sleep while thinking about her decision to join GMA Network.
The actress claimed that she thought long and hard about switching to Kapuso Network and that she had a few sleepless nights while dealing with it.
“Naging mahirap sa akin. Ayokong maging plastic na sabihin sa inyo na napakadali para sa akin. It is hard and I had sleepless nights, thinking about it really hard.”
Despite the experience, she is happy with her decision, since the Kapuso family warmly welcomed her.
“Happy ako na that they love me, so thank you much for giving me this chance to work with them, and I’m so happy. But, at the same time, I’m nervous also, kasi new surroundings, new group of people, but change is good.
“Pati na rin yung mga workers, nakikipag-collaborate sila. Thankful ako dahil ang dami naman nating naririnig na magandang balita sa GMA. Ang dami nilang magandang shows, ang dami nilang magandang… how they treat their people also now that they will take good care of me, and I’m so excited na they’re willing to collaborate with me.
“As you can see, everything around us is changing, in our lives, in our surroundings. And also in showbiz … a lot of collaborations. Change is good.”
Recently, it was announced that Gonzalez would star in a new GMA Network series. She’s also getting big celebrity treatment, as she’s rumored to be in a Kapuso series with Jennylyn Mercado.
In 2018, when she visited GMA Network and talked with executives, she sparked rumors that she was transferring to the said network.
This rumor was fueled further when she appeared on the Kapuso game show Celebrity Bluff, but the transfer did not materialize.
As of now, the actress wishes all the fans and even the bashers’ love for the welcome that she is receiving.
