Mark Averilla, also known as Macoy Dubs apologized for touching the crotch of a man named CJ in Lunch Out Loud.
The incident was captured in a video, which got reposted from his old Instagram Story. Averilla immediately gained the ire of the netizens for allegedly harrassing CJ.
Averilla is one of the maintays of the TV5’s game show, but he recently went on hiatus since April of this year.
The social media personality captioned the video, “HAHAHA DAKS MO NAMAN CJ!”

Through his Instagram Story posted on Tuesday, August 31, he confronted the accusations and apologized to the public.
Averilla explained that he was just having ‘harutan’ moments with CJ and he did not harass him, intentionally.
He wrote, “Meron pong kumakalat na video sa twitter about my IG video way, way back nung nasa noontime show pa ako nung hinupuan ko si CJ.
“Totoo naman po naghaharutan kami at nagkukulitan. Yun ang harutan namin.
“But this is true and this is the truth. Hindi ko hinawakan yung private part niya.
“Nagkukulitan kami, kunyari hihipuan, ganyan.”
The social media personality admitted that he made a mistake though he said that he is not tolerating sexual harassment.
“Number 2, I’m really sorry kung naka-trigger sa inyo yung video na yun, kasi madalas naman talaga ako mag-upload ng IG story.
“I’m really sorry and I own up to that mistake kung na-trigger kayo.
“I just want to say na hindi ko tino-tolerate yung sexual harassment.
“Sa magbabarkada po, yes, nangyayari yung mga ganung klaseng harutan. Internally, di ba, nangyayari yung mga ganun.
“Pero ang mali ko kasi, nasa video siya. And parang nagiging dating sa iilan ay harassment.
“Kaya I just want to make it clear lang, it was never my intention to harass CJ.
“At sa katunayan po, I even asked him kung comfortable siya na ganun yung IG story namin or yung harutan namin. He said comfy siya.
“And kanina nag-usap kami na wala namang issue.
“So, I’m really sorry if ‘yon yung naging dating sa inyo, if may na-trigger.
“But again, I will never tolerate sexual harassment because hindi po yun ang intensiyon ko. Again, I’m really, really sorry.
“I also want to express that I will be better with my actions. And those actions na nasa video ay di dapat tularan at di dapat gawing normal.
“Again, malinis ang intention ko sa tao. Owning this mistake/responsibility. Again, hindi ko tino-tolerate ang sexual harassment.”
In a separate post on his Instagram, he posted a quote which talked about toxicity on social media and commented, “PS, Hindi ako perpekto. Hindi rin ako malinis. Pero mabuti ang intention ko.
“Hindi ako pumapatay. Hindi ako nagnanakaw.
“Bago ako bigyan ng masasakit na salita, at mga maling paratang, sana makilala ninyo muna ako sa personal. Paalam na muna.”
