On Monday, September 13, ABS-CBN’s newest series Marry Me, Marry You premieres on Kapamilya primetime line-up.

Taking the 9:20 pm timeslot, Marry Me, Marry You replaced the series Init Sa Magdamag that concluded the previous week on September 10.

On its pilot episode, Marry Me, Marry You earned a 3.9% rating, of which 2.2% is from TV5, 1.2% is from A2Z, and 0.4% is from Kapamilya Channel. The show ranked 15th on the chart released by AGB Nielsen on September 13.

Compared to the finale ratings of its previous show, the new series failed to maintain its performance considering that Init Sa Magdamag ended with a 5.6%, ranking 12th in the chart.

Marry Me, Marry You also trailed behind its rival Kapuso show The Penthouse S2 which earned a 6.4% rating on the aforementioned date, September 13.

Considering the limited reach of ABS-CBN due to its shutdown, Kapamilya programs struggle to keep up their ratings against its former rival, the Kapuso shows.

Due to this, Kapuso shows can easily top the rating chart and surpass Kapamilya shows.

In terms of online views, the pilot episode of Marry Me, Marry You, earned about 170k to 350k views on YouTube as of writing.

Marry Me, Marry You stars Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez. Joining them are Jake Ejercito, Cherry Pie Picache, Sunshine Dizon, Vina Morales, Teresa Loyzaga, Lito Pimentel, Jett Pangan, and Fino Herrera.
