Sharon Cuneta claimed that the ‘present administration’ brought out the disrespect of people. She also directly identified this administration in reply to a netizen’s question.
Cuneta previously expressed her support for presidential aspirant Leni Robredo and vice president candidate Kiko Pangilinan for the upcoming 2022 elections.
In a lengthy Instagram post by the Megastar, she said that she expected people to judge her post about Leni-Kiko. She blamed the ‘present administration’ for instilling a disrespectful mindset in the people.
“I posted this on my Facebook page just now: I was already expecting lots of trolls and haters to descend on this page once I posted about VP Leni and Kiko. Sadly, this is what this present administration has created and instilled in our people.
“Now, lumalabas na ang pagkabastos at pagkawalang disente ng marami sa ating mga Pilipino. Kundi na tayo marunong rumespeto sa isa’t-isa, paano tayo rerespetuhin ng mundo? Nasaan na ang tunay na bayanihan?” Cuneta wrote.
She also advised the people to choose a leader who fears the Lord and would not steal from the people.
“Maibalik sana natin ang ating pagkadisente at pagiging kagalang-galang. Piliin ninyo ang mga pinuno na may takot sa Panginoon – yung hindi tinatawag ang Diyos na “STUPID.”
“Pumili kayo ng mga walang bahid ng korupsyon, may tapat na hangaring makapaglingkod at protektahan tayo.
“Magising na po tayo. Di na makausad ang Pilipinas! Tama na ang pambobola sa atin. Tama na ang pinagtatawanan ang Pilipino ng mundo,” Cuneta said.

As Cuneta claimed that the present administration is a factor for the people’s disrespect in one’s political bet, one netizen asked her to clarify whom she was referring to.
Cuneta then identified the ‘present administration’ as the President (Duterte) and his people.
“Ang Pangulo at mga tauhan niya. ‘Di naman siya nakikinig sa Senado na dapat nagchecheck and balance sa namumuno. No one is above the law,” she said.
Kiko Pangilinan is the husband of Sharon Cuneta since 1996. They were rumored to be separated, but both of them never confirmed the issue.
Rumors say that Cuneta will have an awkward campaign season because Tito Sotto is also running for the vice president seat.
Sotto is the husband of Helen Gamboa, who is Cuneta’s aunt. Gamboa is the sister of Cuneta’s mom, making them have an Aunt and Niece relationship.
