On January 24, presidential candidate former Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. defined the word “biased” as “Anti-Marcos.”

During his interview with One New PH’s Maricel Halili asked Marcos what he meant by the “biased” when referring to the award-winning broadcast journalist Jessica Soho after declining the GMA Network’s Presidential Interviews special.

Marcos quickly answered, “anti-Marcos.”

As a result, netizens hilariously reacted to Marcos’ statement via social media.

Some netizens made dictionary definition memes of the word ‘biased,’ referring to Marcos’ interview.

Some also slammed Marcos for his statement, citing the presidential aspirant’s ‘main character’ mentality.

Some netizens also noted that Marcos is building his ‘own’ dictionary.

He is building his own dictionary. If biased is anti- Marcos, then pro-Marcos is fair.

Sabi ni Marcos, ang definition ng biased = anti Marcos.

My gosh, hindi lang kasaysayan gustong baguhin ni Marcos, pati pala dictionary. #MarcosDuwagParin

On January 22, Soho led the ‘Jessica Soho Presidential Interview’ special wherein she interviewed the leading candidates for the 2022 elections, such as Vice President Leni Robredo, Senator Ping Lacson, Senator Manny Pacquiao, and Mayor Isko Moreno.

Notably, Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. didn’t attend the event, with the politician’s camp admitting that he opted not to participate despite the invitation. Marcos and his camp claimed that Soho was biased against the presidential aspirant.

Soho asked tough personal questions to the presidential aspirants while tackling several social issues.

Some of the issues she tackled are The West Philippine Sea, EJKs (Extra-Judicial Killings), same-sex marriage, Government’s Pandemic Response, Peace Talks with CPP-NPA, and PH-US Visiting Forces Agreement.
