The Kapamilya Network creates yet another local television milestone, as its upcoming KathNiel-starred TV series, 2 Good 2 Be True, is set to become the first Filipino series to be simultaneously broadcasted on free TV and Netflix.
The fans were not disappointed, as the poster revealed bore the logo of the streaming behemoth, which confirmed the series is indeed to be the first Filipino series to achieve the feat.
RGE Unit shared the poster through its social media account at 6:00 PM today.
“In celebration of their 10th anniversary. Hindi na 2 budol, KathNiel is back!” it said on a tweet. “…no to fake news and lies, sa pag-ibig na 22o lang” it added.
The series is Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla aka KathNiel’s first TV series in five years, since 2017’s La Luna Sangre. It is also the real-life couple’s first acting project in more than a year, after the iWantTFC web series, The House Arrest of U, which streamed both on iWantTFC and Netflix.
Apart from the phenomenal love team, 2 Good 2 Be True‘s ensemble cast also includes Gelli de Belen, Cris Villanueva, Romnick Sarmenta, Jay Manalo, Irma Adlawan, Smokey Manoloto, Gloria Diaz, Ronaldo Valdez, Kristel Fulgar, Matt Evans, Pamu Pamurada, Gillian Vicencio, Yves Flores, Jenny Miller, Alyssa Mulach, and Mary joy Apostol.
The Mae Cruz-Alviar series will also air on TV5, A2Z Channel 11, Kapamilya Channel, and Jeepney TV. Alongside Netflix, it will also stream on iWantTFC, and Kapamilya Online Live. Watch the official teaser, below:
