Veteran actress Annabelle Rama took to social media to educate the people on the type of candidate they should choose for the upcoming elections.
In her Instagram post on April 21, Rama talked about an unnamed person running for a senator who only wants the position for money.
She said that the person has a pending court case and is clueless about the country’s laws.
“Ang dami talagang taong walang utang na loob. Ang kapal ng mukha, sabagay mukha kasing pera. Wag niyong iboto ang kandidatong user, maraming kaso nakapending pa hanggang ngayon at ang kandidatong walang pinag aralan walang alam sa batas pa pogi lang?
“Ang kapal ng mukha tatakbo ng senator? Pwe!!! Anong akala niyo sa mga botante tanga? Iboto niyo ang kandidato na hindi mukhang pera,” she said.
She then said that people should make sure that the candidates they vote for are knowledgeable about the law.
“Tatakbo lang para mag ipon ng pera at mag corrupt. Piliin niyo ang kandidato na magaling gumawa ng batas katulad ng mga dating senador na BRIGHT masarap panoorin sa tv may matutunan ka,” she said.

As of this writing, the actress still did not disclose the person’s identity she was referring to.
In 2013, Rama attempted to enter the world of politics. She ran to be Cebu City’s 1st District representative in the House of Representatives elections under the United Nationalist Alliance party, but she lost against Raul del Mar.
