Aljur Abrenica first released his self-titled album under GMA Records and Sony BMG on 2009, and after four years, he will release again another album, which he considered more personal. It’s Aljur’s decision to personally produce his second album and he is thankful to GMA Network for allowing him to do such.
“Ang inspirasyon ko po sa paggawa ng album na ito, kasi, napakahalaga sa akin ng experience. Gusto ko pong maranasan. Gusto ko pong makita kung paano pinaghihirapan ng mga tao sa paligid ang pag-produce ng album, paano inaalagaan ang album na ‘to. Kumbaga, knowledge lang naman po ang habol ko rito at saka experience. Maliban pa po ro’n, itong album na ‘to, mas personalized,” he said in an interview with the press.
This second album includes 10 songs – 3 revivals and 7 originals. The people who collaborated on Aljur’s second album are both fresh and established names.
On the defunct Sunday variety show “Party Pilipinas,” Kapuso Network’s Prince of Primetime took on songs of different musical genres weekly which helped sharpen his vocal chops. He is still included as a mainstay artist in “Sunday All Stars” which premiered last Sunday.
