On August 3, Viva artist Ava Mendez recounted her ‘himatay moment’ while filming Purificacion.
At the media conference for Purification, Mendez narrated her memorable moments while they were in the production of the Vivamax sexy-thriller.
“For me, ‘yung sabit part, kasi nahimatay ako doon dahil ‘yun ‘yung last day ko for cleansing. So, umiinom lang ako ng juice ko lang tapos hindi ako na-inform na ‘yun na pala ‘yung sabit na pala ang mauuna.
“And then ‘yung mga chikahan namin nila Kat sa standby area and with the rest of the cast.”
As for her goal in showbiz, she revealed her plans to become a producer someday.
“Since nung– politician ‘yung family namin, ako ‘yung humiwalay. Mas gusto ko ‘yung nagnenegosyo ako. Ginagawa ko pa rin naman up to now, pero hindi ko masyadong nabibigyan ng time.
“And then, may plano din akong mag-produce someday. Alam ni Quinn ‘yan, may plano kami diyan.”
She also imparted her thoughts on netizens commenting negatively about Viva’s sexy artists.
“Para sa akin naman po, parang dine-deadma na lang. ‘Yun nga gaya ng sabi ni Kat. And ngayon po kasi sobrang dali na lang mag-judge. Lalo na di naman alam kung anong ginagawa namin. Kung bakit namin ginagawa ‘to.”
Mendez stars in the Vivamax sexy-thriller,, Purificacion. The movie also includes Josef Elizalde and Cara Gonzales as lead stars and Quinn Carillo, Stephanie Raz, and Kat Dovey as the supporting cast.
The sexy thriller directed by GB Sampedro is currently available for streaming via Vivamax starting August 5, 2022.
