In a very unfortunate event, newest Kapamilya on “ASAP” Jona Viray was partnered to a notorious Upstage Diva Sheryn Regis in a duet this afternoon in “ASAP.”
Jona and Sheryn performed Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge over Troubled Water’ and the supposed to be a duet turned out to be an advantage to Sheryn to intimidate Jona. Sheryn Regis has nothing to offer but her shrill voice! Shouting is different from reaching high notes.
Despite Sheryn’s numerous shouts to upstage her duet, Jona stays pro during their prod. Hats off to that.
