On August 29, Ysabel Ortega and Miguel Tanfelix’s Kapuso series What We Could Be aired its pilot episode taking over the timeslot of Bolera.
The Kapuso series debuted with 9.3 ratings based on AGB NIELSEN PHILS. NUTAM People in TV Homes ratings TOP OVERALL PROGRAMS, nabbing the 4th spot for the most watched TV show on Monday.
Its counterpart shows from the Kapamilya Network line up such as A Family Affair and 2 Good 2 Be True, got 3.1 and 5.0 ratings, respectively.
The collaboration of Quantum Films and GMA Network proved to be a hit for YsaGuel fans since it continued its success with 10.8 ratings on August 30, 2022.
Ortega admitted feeling pressure ensuring the success of their Kapuso series. However, she expressed gratitude for the warm reception they received from fans.
“Sobrang grateful ako kasi unang scene pa lang, talagang nag-click na kami as a family. Yung ensemble namin, sobrang saya lang na makatrabaho sila. Kasi sobrang gaan and talagang feeling ko na we made the most of our scenes.
“So yeah, there is pressure but I know na because how talented of my co-actors are as well, and how grateful I am na nakaeksena sila, I think that’s really what will make the viewers fall in love with our series.”
What We Could Be, produced by Quantum Films, stars Ysabel Ortega, Miguel Tanfelix, alongside Kapuso stars Joyce Burton, Soliman Cruz, Alec Bovick, Bimbo Bautista, Art Acuña, Joel Saracho, Celeste Legaspi, EJ Jallorina, Vince Crisostomo, Pam Prinster, Hailey Mendes, and Lia Salvador.
The series, directed by award-winning director Jeffrey Jeturian, airs weekdays on GMA Telebabad after Lolong.
