At the media conference for Tara G, which LionhearTV covered on December 4, Kapamilya star Anthony Jennings got emotional while recalling his father’s passing in the United Kingdom earlier this 2022.
Jennings teared up while sharing his emotional recollection of his father’s death.
The artist shared, “Actually ngayon, naiwan sa ere. Pero hindi relationship, hindi tungkol sa relationship ‘yun dad ko kasi kawawala lang recently so–. Siyempre kaibigan ko din ‘yung Tatay ko, isa siya sa mga katulong ko sa buhay and since noong nawala siya, feeling ko ako na lang mag-isa.”
Jennings’ father died peacefully in the United Kingdom in October 2022, which made the young star more emotional because he wasn’t present when it happened.
In terms of his role, he cited his realization of responsibility. He said, “Siguro isa sa mga natutunan ko noong nasa lock-in kami, ‘yung pagiging responsible namin kasi since noong time na nagpandemic, wala ng mga PA, PA noon eh. Kami na lang nag-aayos ng mga gamit namin….‘yung pagiging responsable namin, siyempre ‘yung tiwala namin sa isa’t isa.”
Anthony Jennings co-stars in the teen-oriented digital series Tara G with other young Kapamilya talents such as Vivoree Esclito, Daniela Stranner, Kaori Oinuma, Zachary Castañeda, CJ Salonga, and JC Alcantara.
Tara G’s season finale airs this Friday (December 9) at 8 PM (Manila time) on the iWantTFC app, directed by Cathy Camarillo.
