Pokwang jokingly announced that she is looking for “daddy” applicants for the new year 2023.
In her Instagram story on January 4, the comedienne shared a glammed photo of herself with a caption that said–she is looking for a “daddy.”
“Hoy 2023 na! Pwede na kayong mag apply mga papa saan na kayo?
“Bawal ang user ha or mangga! Manggagamit!” said Pokwang.
Pokwang was previously in a relationship with American actor Lee O’Brian.
They were together since 2015 but called it “quits” in November 2021.
They have a child named Malia Francine O’Brian, born in January 2018. Malia is Pokwang’s third child but her child with partner O’Brian.
In an interview with 24 Oras in July 2022, Pokwang revealed that her 6-year relationship with O’Brian ended because they both got tired.
“Una sa lahat walang third party, wala in all fairness kay Papang. Hindi rin pera, kagaya ng mga lumalabas na pera. Hindi ganoon, walang ganoon. Siguro napagod lang kami,” she said.
She only revealed their breakup in 2022, even though they called it quits back in 2021 because she tried to keep it to herself at first.
“Kasi ako ‘yung taong lahat tinitiis ko, hangga’t kaya ko, ako lang.
“Hangga’t kaya ko itago sa anak ko, hangga’t kaya ko huwag iiyak sa harap nila. Lahat ng burden gusto ko ako lang. Parang nahihiya ako mandamay sa pamilya ko,” Pokwang said.
Pokwang is currently a host in the Kapuso variety show TiktoClock where she co-hosts with Kuya Kim Atienza and Rabiya Mateo.
