Kapamilya actress Sue Ramirez has put to rest the rumors about the real score of her relationship with Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez.
In an Instagram post on April 19, Ramirez shared sweet photos of her and Benitez holding hands while watching the sunset.
In the caption, she wrote, “Sunsets with my palangga.” Palangga means sweetheart in Ilonggo.
Benitez, meanwhile, commented on her post, saying that watching sunsets is best experienced with her girlfriend Sue.
“Sunsets are always the best with you ❤️,” he wrote.
Speculations about their relationship started after the Kapamilya actress posted a cryptic message on social media.
In her Instagram story last week, Ramirez wrote, “You deserve someone who is sure about you,” fueling rumors that her relationship with Benitez might be on the rocks.
Ramirez and Benitez started dating in February 2020. They then confirmed that they were officially in a relationship in August of the same year.
In a YouTube video posted on Star Magic’s YouTube channel in February 2021, the couple shared that they first met when Benitez was looking for a leading lady for a movie and a mutual friend mentioned the Kapamilya star. They were supposed to have a dinner meeting, but it did not go through because of Ramirez’s busy schedule. Instead, the Victorias City Mayor went to the actress’ concert rehearsal at that time.
And that started their sweet and subtle courtship, which ended in their current relationship.
