Paolo Contis shared his sentiments over netizens who demonized him and his relationship with Yen Santos.
On Friday, April 21, Contis expressed his sadness over his relationship with Santos as wicked and threatening.
“It’s sad to say na super na-demonize kami pareho in terms of, parang super laki. Katulad nga ng sinabi mo pagdating mo kanina ‘Oh! The world’s hatest man.’
“Natuto na ako. And aminin naman natin, there is too much hate for me [so] parang sa akin, so what? As long as quiet ‘yung sa aming dalawa, then so be it…
“I guess being in a quiet relationship, feeling ko mas may advantage. She’s a very private person. Walang comparison. Again, people don’t know what happens behind closed doors. Kung ano man ‘yung nakita ko dati, iba rin ‘yung mga nakikita ko ngayon. Sa amin, it works because we’re both quiet with our personal lives.”
In September 2021, LJ Reyes confirmed her breakup with Contis after the two being together for six years.
On January 30, on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Contis revealed the real deal between her and Santos, saying they are currently in a relationship.
“Hindi na namin puwedeng ipilit yung tao to be happy for us. Hindi namin puwede ipilit yung mga tao na paniwalaan yung gusto nilang paniwalaan. Sana isipin lang nila na kung ano lang yung nakikita nila na naka-post, yun lang yung truth na alam nila,” he said.
