Kapuso star Mikee Quintos revealed that she once had romantic feelings for fellow actor Alden Richards and had even confessed her emotions to him.
During an episode of ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on Monday, Mikee Quintos shared details about her previous attraction to Alden Richards.
Her feelings for Alden began to develop when they collaborated on the television series ‘The Gift.’ Mikee described how working closely with Alden allowed her to get to know him better, appreciating his kindness, sweetness, and genuine, God-fearing nature.
She admitted, “Nakilala ko ‘yung pagkatao niya, ‘yung sweet siya, na mabait siya, kung gaano ka genuine, sobrang God-fearing.” These qualities prompted her to express her feelings to Alden.
However, Mikee disclosed that her confession was not met with a reciprocal admission of affection from Alden. Despite this, she expressed no regrets about sharing her emotions with him, emphasizing that it was an essential step in her personal growth.
She explained, “And I just had to try to express whatever I was feeling. I couldn’t explain it.”
The conversation continued with Mikoy Morales chiming in on Alden’s character, to which Mikee responded with a lighthearted tone, saying, “Oo nga, masisisi n’yo ba ako?” Mikee added that this revelation pertains to events from a few years ago, and both she and Alden have since moved forward, maintaining a strong friendship.
As of now, Mikee Quintos is in a happy relationship with Paul Salas, and the couple recently celebrated their second anniversary in July. In addition to her candid revelations, Mikee continues to make strides in her career, having appeared in popular TV series like ‘The Write One’ and ‘The Lost Recipe.’
While her past romantic feelings for Alden Richards were not reciprocated, Mikee Quintos remains content in her current relationship and continues to excel in her professional endeavors.
