Stars of the upcoming Viu series ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim’ Kim Chiu could not believe on March 9 that fans are clamoring for their loveteam despite being in their 30s.
Chiu is 33 years old, while her co-star Paulo Avelino is 35.
“Nakaka-amaze na lang din na marami ang sumusuporta sa aming dalawa, which is nagugulat talaga kami. We are very thankful of course, sa suporta online,” said the actress during the show’s media conference at Quantum Skyview in Araneta Center.
“Nakakagulat na sa edad naming na ito, mayroon pa na nagshi-ship,” Chiu expressed. “Parang ang weird ng feeling pero salamat po!”
Unfortunately, there are no plans yet for those wanting to see the two headline a movie. But if an opportunity arises, both of them are open to doing it, with Avelino even volunteering to co-produce their first movie together.
“If ever there’s gonna be an opportunity to do a movie with Kim, of course, I’ll be happy to do it or maybe even co-produce,” the actor said.
In the meantime, fans of the Kim-Paulo pairing have to wait until March 18 when ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim’ is released on Viu. This series is the Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean series with a similar name. It is directed by Chad Vidanes and produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.
The series also includes Jake Cuenca, Janice de Belen, Franco Laurel, Romnick Sarmenta, Pepe Herrera, Angeline Quinto, Phi Palmos, Kaori Oinuma, JC Alcantara, Yves Flores, Gillian Vicencio, Cai Cortez, Kat Galang, Brian Sy, with special participation from Kim Won-shik.
