Aiai delas Alas and her fiancé Gerald Sibayan were greeted by their fans upon announcing their engagement last week.
The Concert Comedy Queen also posted a video on her Instagram account. She then shared how Gerald gave the diamond ring.
“Matagal na raw yung singsing niya nakahanda,” said Aiai.
“Sabi ko nga sa kanya, ‘Ilang gives ba ‘yung singsing mo?’
Napakatagal hinintay! Mahal ‘yung singsing eh, hinuhulug-hulugan niya,” she added.
Aiai, said she asked Gerald: “Ilang gives ba ‘yan?”
“Basta matagal, ‘wag mo nang tanungin,” she added.
The 52-year-old also said she felt excited about the engagement. “Siyempre, nai-excite ako. Kasi, una sa lahat, hindi ko pa alam kung ano ang itsura ng singsing.
“Saka hindi ko talaga alam kung ilang gives ‘yun at ilang taon niya pinaghirapan ‘yun,” she continued.
Abante Tonite managed to ask Aiai about the planned date of her wedding with Gerald. However, the comedienne replied, “Wala pa!”
But the actress noted in her past interview, “Baka late pa ng 2018. Baka birthday ko. Pareho kaming November, baka isabay sa birthday ko o birthday niya.”
Aiai will surely reveal more details about her wedding with Gerald at the press conference of her upcoming film “Our Mighty Yaya”, produced by Regal Films and set to be shown in cinemas on May 10.
