International singing sensation Charice finally called it quits with former singer and long-time partner Alyssa Quijano. According to reports, Alyssa left their apartment with all her belongings.
As for Charice, talks have it that she’s currently staying at a fan’s house in Laguna.
It will be recalled that Charice has given up a lot of opportunities because she fought for the love she has for Alyssa. It even resulted to family squabbles where her decision to come out in the open that she’s a lesbian was frowned upon by her own family.
Charice and Alyssa went steady for more than four years. October of last year, they celebrated their fourth anniversary. There were also plans of getting married abroad where they also wanted to have a baby.
Charice seems to have lost her luster since she made her album last year. She could’ve made it internationally since both Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres gave her the right exposure before.
Unfortunately, Charice chose love over her career. So her career had to take a backseat while she was happy in love. And now that she had split up with Alyssa, let’s all hope Charice will finally find her way back into the ‘biz. We sincerely hope she’ll be able to make a good comeback because we still believe in her talent.
