American boy band Jonas Brothers are currently in the country for a two-night concert in Manila and Cebu on October 19 and 20, respectively.

Brothers Joe, Kevin and Nick arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Wednesday evening to start the Asian leg of their “Jonas Brothers World Tour.” After a three-year hiatus, brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin reunite and perform for their Filipino fans in an exciting concert sashaying a string of pop-rock hits as well as the debut some of their new materials from their forthcoming album reported to be released by the end of 2012. The trio will perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday and at the Waterfront Hotel Cebu City the following day.

For the Philippine stop of their “Jonas Brothers Live 2012” tour, the Disney-grown musical act will perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on October 19, and at Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on October 20. Formed in 2005, the Jonas Brothers gained popularity when they starred opposite Miley Cyrus in “Hannah Montana” and later on with their own show “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream,” both shown on Disney Channel. They also top billed big screen productions “Camp Rock” and its sequel “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam”.

After the Philippines, the trio are set to visit Singapore and Malaysia this month, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia in November and will end the tour in Chile by February next year.

Filipina-American actress/singer Anna Maria Perez de Tagle will perform as the front act in both concerts in the country.
