Viva Artists Agency talent Rabin Angeles is reaping the rewards of his rising popularity, as he celebrates a personal milestone following his recent endorsement deal.

Rabin, who stars in the hit Viva One series ‘Ang Mutya ng Section E’, has been officially introduced as the newest ambassador of the international South Korean skincare brand The Lab by Blanc Doux, distributed locally by Viva Beauty.

In an interview, Rabin shared how grateful he is for the opportunity—revealing that his talent fee from the endorsement went toward purchasing his first car.

“Thankful ako sa nasabing endorsement dahil ang talent fee ko para sa proyektong ito ang ipinambili ko ng sasakyan,” he said.

The young actor, who previously relied on long commutes from Angeles, Pampanga to Metro Manila for auditions and work, now owns an SUV.

“Noon kasi ay nagpi-P-to-P (point to point) ako from Angeles, Pampanga to Trinoma in Quezon City, at nag-m-MRT ako papuntang Shaw Boulevard at saka naglalakad papunta sa office ng Viva sa may Ortigas Center,” he recalled.

Now, with his own vehicle, Rabin no longer needs to take the MRT. He added that while his older brother currently drives for him, he is already learning how to drive himself.

“Student’s Permit pa lang kasi ang hawak ko at hindi pa Non-Professional License,” he explained.

Despite the upgrade in lifestyle, Rabin said he still enjoys taking walks in his neighborhood in Pampanga.

“Mahilig pa rin akong maglakad sa lugar namin,” he added. “Pero dahil may SUV na ako, hindi na ako nag-m-MRT.”
